Termite Inspections

Pre Purchase Building and Pest Inspections

Powered by the TERMATRAC T3i RADAR + THERMAL IMAGING CAMERA

Here at Pro Shield Pest Management, we use nothing but the best detection technology available, that’s why we chose the TERMATRAC T3i Termite Detection Radar. The TERMATRAC T3i ensures no physical penetration of walls, termites are not disturbed, do not retreat, and remain active for easy and accurate treatment.

TERMATRAC’s patented radar detection system is the only device in the world that can pinpoint the location and track the presence of termites. Radar signals are calibrated to locate termites through timber, brick, concrete, plaster board, plastic, carpet and more.

Alongside the TERMATRAC we use the VEVOR Thermal Imaging Camera. Thermal imaging works by detecting heat signatures throughout a structure. As well as creating moisture and humidity, termites also emit heat, which can be picked up as a yellow or red area on the thermal image.

Our inspection reports are thorough and fully compliant with Australian Standards. We make sure we take the time to explain any areas of concern and are always happy to discuss the report in further detail.

Our Pre-Purchase Pest and Building Inspections are performed separately by two inspectors, a Pest Inspector, and a Building Inspector, giving you two sets of eyes, two separate reports and many years of experience on the day to give you piece of mind. We encourage the purchaser to join us at the property on the day of inspection.

Reports are available 24-48 hours after inspection.

Reports include:

  • All the areas inspected including photos.
  • Any areas of concern
  • Past or present termite infestations
  • Termite evidence and termite treatment recommendations
  • Any conditions conducive to termite activity
  • Evidence of existing water damage, mould, or fungal decay
